Seating Pods

Outdoor seating at The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show / La Oruga Muy Hambrienta Espectáculo is organized in 20 socially-distant pods to keep all patron family groups at least 6 feet apart from one another throughout the performance. Seating pods for two people start at $56.

When purchasing your pods, you have the following options:

• STANDARD or LARGE
Standard pods seat up to 6 people max.
Large pods seat up to 8 people max.

• LAWN OR CHAIR
LAWN: Lawn pods are on the ground (without chairs) and are closer to the stage. Audiences enjoying lawn seating are strongly encouraged to bring their own blankets. By doing so, you help reduce the risk of cross contamination and ensure a safer outdoor performance experience for all patrons.

COVID-19 Mitigation Policy

Your health and safety are Metro Theater Company’s priorities!

We have updated our policies to protect all patrons from any health exposure risks.

• Mask wearing is require for ages 2+*

• Temperature checks upon entry

• Outdoor seating at both The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show is organized in socially-distant pods, keeping all patron family groups at least 6 feet apart from one another throughout the performance.

• To eliminate cross contamination risks, all ticketing will be contactless and programs will be digital-only.

• All purchases are final. Should you not be able to attend, live performance tickets can be exchanged into a virtual performance ticket at any time.

*The MTC house manager and ushers will ensure masks are worn by all audience members; however, per CDC guidelines, mask wearing will not be enforced for children under two years old, anyone with trouble breathing, or patrons otherwise unable to remove their mask without assistance.
