Over the last twelve months, perhaps more than ever before, our region’s young people have looked to the arts to connect, to inspire, and even to heal. It has been our honor and our privilege to find ways to meet them where they are during this unusual year, adapting programs and performances to consistently create safe, welcoming, and inclusive spaces to gather, to laugh, and to learn.
Thanks to the support of Metro Theater Company donors and audience, we have been able to awaken hope, nurture creativity, empower, and delight young people in the theater, in the classroom, and through streaming performances and educational programs. What a year it has been for all of us.
Our current fiscal year ends on June 30th. As we prepare to turn the page from our 49th season and towards our milestone 50th anniversary season, we now also turn to you.

As a 501(c)3 non-profit, all gifts made to MTC are fully tax-deductible and directly support our mission to create professional theater, foster inclusive community, and nurture meaningful learning through the arts.
The year ahead will continue to be filled with moments of joy and celebration. In addition to all we consistently do on stage and in classrooms, we will offer a free family festival October 15 & 16, the world premiere of a major new musical Spells of the Sea in February, and an event that has truly been 50 years in the making: an unforgettable gala under the Big Top in Grand Center in April. And, perhaps most importantly for our region, we will launch our ten-year commitment to reach every child in the St. Louis region over the decade to come.
