Gen Zoufal
Attention Metro Theater Company summer campers! The incredible MTC Resident Teaching Artist Gen Zoufal is teaching summer camp!
Gen said, “My favorite part about Metro Theater Company summer camps is watching the students create a community. Campers become friends and create a supportive environment where they are able to explore the arts with a lot of bravery, joy, and fun! It’s amazing to see how they grow in just a week or two.”
In addition to her time with MTC, Gen also worked at Seattle Children’s Theater in a number of capacities, including the education and development departments. Gen holds a BFA in Theater Arts, with a concentration in Theater for Young Audiences, and a double major in Psychology, with a concentration in Human Development from DePaul University. She is honored to have the opportunity to bring arts education that engages students and invites them to challenge the world around them to schools and communities across St. Louis with MTC.
Whether it’s playing with storytelling through movement or music at Creative Arts Camp, or learning how to audition for a play at Grand Theater Camp, MTC’s professional teaching artists bring fun and growth through the arts to campers of all ages. From the multidisciplinary nature of Creative Arts Camp to the use of university-level facilities at Grand Theater Camp, Metro Theater Company, in collaboration with its summer camp partners, offers engaging camps all summer long.
