Today, on #GivingTuesday, we are delighted to share good news about the person who makes so many of our fundraising activities possible.

Lauren Brooks joined the team at MTC last September, after completing her Masters Degree in Arts Administration at Boston University.  She has quickly become an invaluable member of the MTC team. You may have met her in the lobby ringing Zuzu’s bell with our Berges Family Foundation Matching Challenge donors or seen her briefly on screen during After Dark as she tallied up incoming donations live for that virtual gala. If you’ve tuned into our Learning Through Play in the Arts video series, you may have seen her teaching a few dance steps as part of a Warm Up Wednesday. Formerly a dance instructor and choreographer, she served as the School Administrator for the Boston Ballet and currently also serves on the board of Big Muddy Dance Company. She is already bi-lingual, English and Mandarin, and is currently learning her third language, French.

After the extraordinary impact she’s made at MTC already, we are thrilled to announce Lauren’s promotion to Development Manager. She assumes her new title January 1. We hope you’ll join us in congratulating her… and help her make today’s #GivingTuesday a big success with a donation!
