After Dark 2024: Celebrating Julia Flood Photo Gallery

On May 7, 2024, Metro Theater Company hosted After Dark 2024: Celebrating Julia Flood, a memorable evening dedicated to honoring Julia Flood’s remarkable decade-long legacy and welcoming the new Artistic Director, Jacqueline Thompson. The celebration featured captivating musical performances by Syrhea Conway, Alicia Revé Like, Colin McLaughlin, Cameron Tyler, and Tyler White, who delighted the audience with selections from Wonderland: Alice’s Rock & Roll Adventure, In My Granny’s Garden, and Last Stop on Market Street.

The event was led by MTC’s Managing Director, Jessie Youngblood and honorary co-chair and keynote speaker Idris Goodwin, a renowned TYA playwright, frequent MTC collaborator, and Board President of TYA/USA. Co-chairing the event were Elizabeth Green and Julius B. Anthony. The generous support garnered from After Dark 2024 ensures the continued success of Metro Theater Company's educational programs and theatrical performances, laying a strong foundation for its future endeavors.
