Q&A with Corey Mingo

Accounting Manager Corey Mingo joined the Metro Theater Company team in March 2021.

What do you enjoy about theater for young audiences?
What I find most enjoyable is the fact that new avenues are starting to open up to youth that were never exposed to the arts.

What is one of your favorite holidays and why?
Christmas, it’s all about family and friends.

Tell us about a new skill or strength you developed during the pandemic.
Becoming a full fledge “Soccer Dad.”

Corey has over 20 years of experience as an accounting and financial analyst professional. He previously worked for Bayer/Monsanto and Anheuser-Busch In Bev. He also spends his time as a mentor to inner city youth through the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity National Guide Right Program. Corey serves as Board Member of Kappa League Scholarship Foundation. He enjoys spending time with his family and watching his kids compete in various sports. With his family, he loves to travel (favorite location is Destin, FL). Corey also loves to play golf, support local teams such as the Cardinals and Blues, and watch his favorite NFL, the Miami Dolphins.
