Ticket Underwriting

The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show

The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show

For many schools in our region already struggling to provide excellent instruction with limited budgets, the COVID pandemic hit especially hard. MTC has always been committed to ensuring access to schools regardless of means. Ticket underwriting and program underwriting plays a key role in making that possible. As we approach our final in-person and virtual performances this season, we want to thank the generous underwriters who have made it possible for so many young people to experience the arts, even during this challenging year.

Please join us in applauding The Des Lee Collaborative Vision, The Gateway Foundation, The Opportunity Trust, and the All Ivy Alumni Clubs of St. Louis for their impact – as well as the many individual donors who have supported underwriting projects. Thousands of students across the St. Louis region have benefited from access to MTC programs thanks to these generous supporters. A teacher in an elementary school whose students received support to see Caterpillar shared, “Our children were enthralled and absolutely thrilled to spend some time with some of their favorite characters as they came alive in their own classrooms. The squeals of excitement filled our hallways as each class had this awesome experience.”

If you would like to help underwrite opportunities for young people to see live theater in our next season, consider making a contribution. Thank you for your support!
