Zahria Moore, Community Support and School Bookings Associate
Zahria Moore (she/her) is a theatre maker, educator, and performance scholar from Atlanta, GA. She received her Master of Arts in Theatre and Performance Studies from the University of Maryland at College Park in 2021. She is also a graduate of the University of Missouri having received her Bachelor of Arts in both English and Theatre. Following graduate school, Zahria moved to St. Louis to participate in the St. Louis Black Repertory Company’s Professional Fellowship Program. As an AmeriCorps Community Arts Fellow, Zahria served The Black Rep as an Education Assistant, Teaching Artist, and Actor in the Professional Touring Company. She has had the privilege to teach at the University of Maryland, Washington University, The Black Rep, and The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis. Zahria is very excited to join Metro Theatre Company for their 50th Anniversary Season!
