Each year, Metro Theater Company reaches over 25,000 students through our productions, residencies, workshops, and camps. In MTC’s last fully in-person season before the pandemic, over 20% of those students attended our productions at no cost thanks to generous supporters including the Boniface Foundation, Gateway Foundation, Des Lee Collaborative Vision, St. Louis Public School Foundation, Left Bank Books, and a number of individual supporters.

Every $10 donated for ticket underwriting allows a child to attend one of our student matinees. For many children, their experiences with Metro Theater Company are their early introductions to live theater and its ability to expand not only creativity and critical thinking but also a capacity for empathy. So whether you give $10, $110, or $1,000, know that you are directly sharing the magic of theater with the next generation of movers, thinkers, and doers.
