Theater has the capacity to empower audiences, transform communities, and deepen human understanding – for children more than anyone.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Metro Theater Company relies on the generosity of our community of supporters to fulfill our mission. Thanks to you, we are able to foster community, nurture learning, and build the potential of young people through the arts. Approximately two-thirds of our budget each season is funded by supporters like you.

Your gift will:

• Enable our mainstage season, touring productions, and education programs to reach over 20,000 young people each year, including youth who may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience live performance.

• Support the development of new work to inspire young audiences.

• Sustain the ongoing creation of digital resources to engage young people through theater regardless of their location.

• Fund school residencies to cultivate meaningful art-driven learning experiences through collaboration with teachers in their own classrooms.

• Promote the development of local actors, designers, and other artists through paid work and mentorship opportunities.
