Summer Camp Teaching Artist

Metro Theater Company is back in person for another summer of fun!

Whether it’s playing with storytelling through movement or music at Creative Arts Camp, or learning how to audition for a play at Grand Theater Camp, MTC’s professional teaching artists bring fun and growth through the arts to campers of all ages. Middle school and high school camps are presented in partnership with Summer at SLU. Creative Arts Camp is presented in partnership with New City School.

We are thrilled that our beloved Technical Director, Erik Kuhn, will be returning for another Summer at SLU as our stage combat instructor. A technician and a thespian, Erik is a prolific proponent of staged swordplay and violence veteran. He has instructed and choreographed for countless companies, across every era, from Roman riots, multitudinous Macbeth’s, Shakespearean scuffles, and contemporary confrontations. Along with his Society of American Fight Directors certifications, he is also an Associate Instructor and Advanced Theatrical Combatant with Dueling Arts International.
