Our Mission
Inspired by the intelligence and emotional wisdom of young people, we create professional theater, foster inclusive community, and nurture meaningful learning through the arts.

Our Vision
Metro Theater Company envisions a strong, vibrant and diverse St. Louis, where every person is valued and respected, and where all young people are empowered to reach their full human potential without barriers.

Metro Theater Company’s home is in St. Louis, Missouri. We acknowledge that we are on the traditional homelands of the Osage Nation, Missouria, and Illini Confederacy. We pay respect to elders both past and present, and we acknowledge the privilege that we carry in now inhabiting the land of their ancestors. If you would like to learn more about the land on which you stand, discover resources at the Kathryn M. Buder Center for American Indian Studies at Washington University in St. Louis.
