April 18 & 22, 2017
A Play for the Very Young
devised by Metro Theater Company
In Partnership With
You are invited to a performance of Out of the Box, a Theater for the Very Young (TVY) play produced and presented by Metro Theater Company in partnership with St. Louis University.
TVY is a theater form currently popular in Europe and Australia but is relatively unknown in the United States. Pre-kindergarten years present a crucial time for brain development and multi-sensory stimulation is important to the process. Metro Theater Company has developed this TVY production to address that need.
Out of the Box will last about 30 minutes with an additional 30 minutes of post-show activities and fun following the performance.
Best for children under age 5 and their Grown-ups.
There will be TWO public performance locations on two different days: Laumeier Sculpture Park on April 18, and Metro Theater Company on April 22. On each day there will be a 9:30am and an 11:30am performance! Details below:
